About The Lon Throne Sound System
The Lion Throne Sound System was founded on a soild foundation and rose from the embers of Al Bongo Al Bongo Sound (later the Pixiephonic Soundsystem) created by the late Alan Druid Williams, re-lit and fired back up by his son the Rev. Ras Pixie & Friends
already one of the main instigators of the South Coasts Free Party Scene and with a life time of experience following in his famalies footsteps as a "Travelling Showmen" putting on and being part of Fayres and Festivals, entertaining, performing, running Parties and hosting Gatherings and Event Stages Ras Pixie in his new role as I-ya Priest of JAH Temple of Universal Rastafari and after a near fatal infection and amputaion (and the birth of Bruv-I Stump-I) recieved a vision from JAH to spread the message of One Love, Peace and I-nity by sharing the mystical Positive Musical Sound Vibratiions that had healed and empowered him in his darkest times "to ALL that Ears to hear it"
starting off by creating the worlds first JAH Blessed Wheelchair Soundsystem that he could push around (slowly at first) as he learned to walk again and so was born The Lion Throne Sound System which toured local parks, town centres and festivals and over time and with the help of some wonderful Souls around him soon evolved into a collective of beautiful beings all focued on the mission and The Lion Throne Sound System roared into the I-va growing and flowing Entity that it is today.
more conversations with JAH lead to the creation of our Internet Radio Station in Jan 2024 with the aim of being able to share that Positive message of One Love, Peace and I-nity to more people and create a Comm-UNITY hub for JAH Temple of Universal Rastafari and it's I-va growing and I-va Living & Loving Congregation
Since the Roar of the Lion Throne was first heard we have been blessed to have have spread our Vibe to an I-va growing global comm-UNITY of beautiful listeniners at through the Internet Station, at our Services and Gatherings and events we have hosted as well as through invites to DJ @ Select tunes at Festivals and Parties including Lion Throne Takeovers and Soundclashes with other fantastic Soundsystems
